This class covers the full Primary Series of the Ashtanga system as taught by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois. This class is led-practice (not Mysore style) and it is not suitable for beginner yoga students. Traditionally, in the Ashtanga yoga method it is recommended to practice the syllabus six days a week. The Primary Series builds sequentially in terms of flexibility and strength preparing you for the gateway to more advanced poses. Further, you gain consistency and regularity in your personal practice connecting internally to a deep sense of yourself, which requires dedication. Don’t be afraid about joining in. This class is empowering, encouraging and inspirational.
